Feid first show in Argentina
The Colombian artist Salomón Villada Hoyos, better known by his stage name, Feid (Faith, faith in English), performed this Saturday for the first time in the country. He did it at the Movistar Arena as part of his “Ferxxo Nitro Jam” tour and displayed his best in front of more than 12,000 people in a concert that lasted two and a half hours.
The recital began at 9:40 p.m., 40 minutes after schedule, as the audience had not finished settling into their seats, when a gigantic white sheet covered the entire stage of the Villa Crespo micro-stadium while the first chords of Normal, one of his bestest hits played in the background.
Then, the applause of his fans was unanimous, and a play of lights blinded everyone. Seconds later, the canvas fell suddenly revealing the Paisa composer, producer and singer who in recent years managed to put himself at the top of the urban industry.
With his characteristic look: colored cap (this time yellow), jacket with his name, baggy jeans, sneakers and sunglasses, Ferxxo dominated the stage and gave free rein to his ability to hype the audience.
In the first part of the show, the one born in Medellín took advantage of the expectations of those present to remember his beginnings as a vocalist and little by little he was singing some of the songs with which he exploded on all platforms.
The multi-award-winning singer-songwriter interacted at all times with his fans and gave away his classic mirrored sunglasses as well as several “Happy Birthday Ferxxo: We Pirateed The Album” T-shirts.
He also showed off by changing his outfit several times throughout the show and always prioritized wearing something green in his clothes, the color that characterizes him.
The artist born in Medellín spoke to his audience from the heart.
Meanwhile, before interpreting X19X, he made a reflection that made all the presents emotional. “I cannot sing this song without a very important message of love from me to you and that is that if you suddenly brought the bride, the groom, the mother, the father or the sister, give them a hug. and tell them that you love them very much,” he began by saying.
And he added: “The message is that today you take a lot of love from Ferxxo in your hearts because it is the only thing that society lacks so that we can continue moving forward, so that we love each other a lot and that we fulfill all our dreams. …if you sing, make music or are studying to be doctors, lawyers or teachers, we are going to make it, we're going to make it.”
Another of the highlights of the evening was when an immense and impressive monster truck appeared on stage and Ferxxo performed several of his hits from one of its wheels; and when Paulo Londra walked in walking along the side of the stage to perform Sometimes, the melody produced by Federico Vindver that they released together in November of last year.
The Colombian artist and his colleague from Cordoba sang A Cappella Sometimes this Saturday night.
The show continued with Friki, the collaboration he did with his compatriot Karol G, who is said to be much more than his friend; La Innocent, the feat he did with Mora, who in November accompanied Bad Bunny at the Vélez stadium; and Pantysito, Vacaxiones and Si tú seguiras, among other songs of his authorship.
The thing is that long before becoming a vocalist he dedicated himself to composing songs for other artists of the genre, such as Maluma, CNCO and J Balvin, since writing songs comes quite naturally to him.
Ferxxo does not stop achieving success, adding dates and selling out seats on its first tour of Latin America, the “Ferxxo Nitro Jam”, which will end on April 1 in Ecuador, passing through Bolivia, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica, and Peru in addition to Argentina.
The one born in Medellín arrived in the country this Saturday after performing on Thursday and Friday in Santiago de Chile, and before heading to Cochabamba, Bolivia, where this Sunday he will share the stage with other artists of stature, such as Manuel Turizo and Bizarrap, at the framework of the “Non Stop The Madness 2023” festival.
It was very exciting that he came because he is a great artist and many people admire him. He has very famous songs that people identify with or like the lyrics, and when people found out he was coming they were very happy, selling out the tickets for all his shows very quickly.
