it 2 vs LOTR
In this review we are going to compare two different movies that produced me totally opposite feelings. While the lord of the rings 1 left me slack-jawed, IT 2 made me feel extremely disappointed.
Set in an imaginary world, The Lord Of the rings tells the story of Frodo Bolson, a little hobbit which will have to make a dangerous journey to the biggest volcano with the objective of burning the most powerful and desired artifact in the entire world, called the Sauron ring. However, it is not going to be easy. Sauron, the worst villain of the galaxy will chase him night and day to finally reach and obtain the metallic ring. According to scientific studies, this is the highest- grossing movie of the history, raising more than 5 billion dollars globally. It contains a very gripping plot as well as stunning actors such as Orlando Bloom or Vigo Mortensen. However the success of this film was not only achieved by these aspects. After the Investment of a fortune on this movie, the producers of this masterpiece could make every single scene contain unbelievable graphics and effects. Every spectator declared having ended up gaping.
Secondly, we highlight IT 2, the most disappointing film I have ever seen. Despite the first one was really good in overall, the director decided to fully change the cast for the second one. As a consequence of this, it seemed that we were watching a whole different saga. Moreover, we have personally found it bizarre rather than terrifying because of the poor effects and sounds used. However, what must be mentioned is that although the new actors were not familiar, they had a good development during the different scenes and could catch the viewers’ attention
Considering all the above, we strongly recommend you to take a look at every single movie of The Lord of the Rings saga. Nothing can replicate the sheer visceral sense of watching it. On the other hand, we firmly suggest avoiding watching IT2 at all cost, no matter how big fan of horror films you are.
