THE GREAT HISTORY OF CHANEL, ONE OF THE MOST KNOWN LUXURY BRANDS IN THE WORLD
Chanel is a Parisian fashion brand, which was created by designer Coco Chanel. It is considered by consumers as a premium store with luxury and haute couture products, synonymous with sobriety and absolute elegance.
The history of this wonderful and renowned brand begins in 1909, when Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel opens the doors of a small store located in Paris, on the ground floor of her lover's apartment.
A year later, the designer began a love relationship with Arthur Capel, a businessman, with whom she opened her legendary establishment located at Rue de Cambon 31, in Paris.

During the First World War, “Coco” opened another boutique in front of the prestigious Parisian Ritz Hotel. Her brand's designs began to become famous in 1915 for their rebellion against the fashion of the time and their push for freedom of movement.
In 1920, “Coco” marked fashion with her famous two-piece suit and a year later the Russian-French, Ernest Beaux, created a fragrance for the designer, which was called Chanel Number Five, since this was the number of its fate.
With the great acceptance of her perfume she creates “Parfums Chanel” in the company of her new love, Duke Pierre Wertheimer.
However, she breaks off their courtship after thinking that the perfume empire was a scam on Pierre's part, and she goes to live in Switzerland where she falls in love with Von Dincklage and together they filled that country with branches with his brand.
In 1953 she returned to Paris but she noticed that she had lost significant popularity due to her new competitor on the market: Christian Dior. “Coco” turns to her ex-partner, Pierre, and with the help of his great work in business and marketing, Chanel returned to the top in the fashion industry, with this the businessman obtains 100% of the rights to the brand. , but two years later, when he died, he left the empire in charge of his son.
Until the day of her death (January 10, 1971) Coco Chanel worked and developed new products and fragrances.
Currently, Pierre's son, Alan Werheimer, is the owner of the Chanel fashion house and offers haute couture consumers: clothing, makeup, glasses, perfumes, handbags, shoes and jewelry. Still considered one of the best in the world.
Chanel is considered a great reference in the world of fashion.
