Technologies and childhood:

The emergence of the Internet in 1995 generated a great advance in technologies, these
improved their quality and capabilities, from here the idea of a social network arose and was
began to form a new digital world. These became the new
social mechanism for the exchange of information and communication, so they are a
key point in world globalization, generating an increase in development both at
 cultural, economic and social level.
Since the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 11th century, advances have achieved a
greater accessibility for all to technologies, childhood among early childhood
(3-5 years) and childhood (6-11 years) are constantly crossed, linked and
exposed to the virtual world and social networks. This permanent relationship leaves them
subject to the constant danger of overexposure and overuse.
With this peak of evolution that the digital technological world has gone through in recent
two decades, societies were constantly seen in relation to the new
emergences such as networks and new digital technologies such as telephones
cell phones, tablets and televisions, thus making these part of the
life of all; without distinguishing by age, including childhood, those born
 surrounded by these.
This new digital world generated a broader and more diverse communication environment and
had a strong impact on globalization thanks to the constant connection they provide
and to which they also expose us. These new forms of constant connection have
has had an impact in various ways on the development of childhood and has changed the
ways in which they develop in this "new world".
According to the state of the world's children (UNICEF, 2017), digital technologies
have changed the lives of children and if they are used correctly
and responsible can expand future opportunities for both childhood and
 of our society.
We decided to carry out this research because it seems to us to be of vital importance.
know as something so present in everyone's life, such as technologies,
affects human evolution. Furthermore, we are interested in paying attention to how
the system that is responsible for composing childhoods (the educational system) is
relates to technologies and whether it has been able to adapt and evolve with them and childhood.
